small rewards

I've starting volunteering my time and feeble expertise to a few charitable causes. I've only managed a few hours so far, but it feels good. It is nice to be able to apply the l33t f00 I've got to something that actually makes a positive change in the lives of good people. Does that imply that most of my work doesn't accomplish those things? well.. it feels that way sometimes.
